Hazelgrove German Shepherd Dogs were established in 1977 as a hobby kennel only keeping two dogs and only breeding one litter every four years or so. Circumstances change and now we have more space for our dogs and can run on the odd promising puppy. We only breed one or two litters per year, striving to improve our bloodlines with each mating we plan. We now have some of the best bloodlines imported from Germany. Our aim is to breed healthy puppies suitable for a variety of purposes, be it family companions, show dogs, working dogs or police dogs.

We Hip Score all our dogs once they have reached the required age of 12 months. We are now also participating in the Elbow Scoring Scheme. Also all males retained by us are Haemophilia tested.

We have signed the German Shepherd Breed Council Breeders Charter (Code of Ethics) which we will be happy to supply to anyone wanting a copy.

Every puppy is sold with a Contract of Sale, Six Weeks free Insurance, a Royal Canin Puppy Pack, Pedigree and Tattoo or Microchip Certificate.
